Yup, that's the one. I now live in Vegas after 30 something years in LA. Everytime I have company from the NY area I tell them that they have to bring at least a dozen "New York" bagels. When I lived in LA there were stores that advertised that they shipped water in daily from New York for their pizza but who knows? I visit Florida (in fact, I'm going this weekend for mother's day)often and think their bagels are kind of ok. I always bring some back. TooJays has pretty good ones. Maybe I'm just out of Brooklyn too long. What I do remember is that the next day they were hard but still good.
