Growing up in Jackson Heights (1938-1955) our family physicians were Dr. Leo Green on 73rd St (I think), and Dr. Vogel, I think in 84th St. I was amazed as a kid at Dr. Green because he had an electronic hearing aid!

We used Dr. Sol Silverman as a dentist (37th Ave and 79th St), but most interesting of all--for years our dentist was Dr. Emma Koch in Long Island City in the big "skyscraper" there in Bridge Plaza. She had to be one of the first female dentists in NYC.
