I lived in the Mathews Homes on Grand Ave Elmhurst (Across from the gas tanks).
It was a neighborhood of mixed ethnic groups. You name it and it was there. Now it is 95% Asian. No problem with Asians but I wouldnt want to live as a minority. Interestingly enough when I lived among the different ethnic groups back in the forties and fifties everyone spoke English. Not the case today.
